Sponsorship Opportunities for 2010

$6000 will provide one year of paid internship for a veteran with brain injury or stroke.

The Clubhouse provides paid internships for veterans to assist them in transitioning from therapy into competitive employment.  Because of their brain injuries, special accommodations need to be addressed for memory deficits, migraines, issues with organization and PTSD.  We assist the veterans in using these techniques and compensatory devices within the job setting.

Sponsors will have their company name, logo and link placed on our website and in our donor newsletter that is mailed out primarily to donors and healthcare professionals.  A veteran in the program will be available to the company for press conferences or community events.  A press release will be sent out.

$1500 will provide 3 months of rehabilitative services at the Clubhouse to a veteran or person with brain injury or stroke.

Persons with brain injury and stroke require life long services and will continue to improve given stimulation.  State funding cuts have left many without services.  Insurance companies continue to reduce benefits leaving many with serious disabilities and tremendous burdens to families both physically and financially.

Sponsors will have their company name, logo and link placed on our website and in our donor newsletter.  A recipient survivor of this sponsorship will be available to for press conferences and community events.

$100 will sponsor one month of Adaptive exercise classes and activities at the Clubhouse

Many persons with disabilities are less active and struggle with physical impairments.  They require specialized adaptive exercise equipment and knowledgeable instructors.  The Clubhouse will partner with the Chicago Park District, the Judd Goldman Adaptive Sailing Program and Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association.

Sponsors of this activity will be listed in our donor newsletter and receive recognition in our e-newsletter.

In-kind donations and volunteers are welcome donations.

Each month the Clubhouse utilizes over $1500 worth of supplies include paper products, office supplies, cleaning supplies and food.  Please inquire for our Wish List.

As we serve 20-30 people with disabilities per day, we frequently need extra help whether it’s working one on one with a member at a computer or accompanying our members on an outing to a restaurant or museum.  We also welcome motivated individuals to share their expertise on our Board of Directors.
