Stories from the Clubhouse

We are all thankful for being alive. It was tough for me to learn how to walk once again. I felt like a damn baby. Do you know my life was flipped upside down? For example, I used to have a lot of friends. Now where are they?
And I had a fiancé. She found out that I was in a wheelchair and I guess that's why she broke off the marriage.
But now, my life is so much better.

My favorite thing about the clubhouse is the computer room. Since I came to the clubhouse I have learned to use the internet and have my own email address. I love to check my email each of the days. Using the clubhouse computers had made me want to get one for my own. Go there, and I know it is only a matter of time...of getting better but I have.

My inspiration for my life is my wife for being my strength per my current health condition. My strength comes from being healthy and staying strong. My wife also helps me with my daily routines. I am grateful for that. I am grateful that I am here to share all kinds of life experiences again.
